Hi, I’m Georgia Adsett.

I’m a Planner, English/Art Tutor and Creative based in Abergavenny who believes that the world needs true creativity, good stories and genuine connection.

Over the years, I have worn many hats and been on many adventures…

Chapter 1. Academia
I first sported a beret living in France, learning the art of the protest, sampling nice cheese and teaching English Language in a French collège... magnifique! Then, I travelled back to the UK to finish my BA Degree in English & French at Southampton University.

Chapter 2. Planning
After graduating, I moved into Advertising; I spent 5 years as a Brand Strategist and Planner at Indie Agencies, navigating the best way through the digital jungle and persuading people to follow. I loved the creative collaboration, empathetic insights and writing craft but I continued my adventures in search of a new climate where I could apply my skills and talents with good ol’ fashioned face to face connection…

Chapter 3. Teaching
Buoyed by books - as an avid reader and Literature nut - I took a big leap and jumped headfirst into Secondary English Teaching, earning a ‘Distinction’ in my PGCE at Bristol University. I now have 5 years experience Teaching Secondary English from KS3-5, specialising in ALevel Literature.

I have recently moved to Abergavenny, the land of rolling hills, so am continuing my adventures in South Wales.
